Research Statement

My lab uses a multi-disciplinary approach to examine mechanisms of immune cell dynamics in cancer and how they control patient survival and response to therapy. By integrating computational and functional genomics with innovative models, technology, and experimental biology, the goal of my research is to improve treatment strategies for cancer patients. Based on studies of tumor immunotherapy response, I hypothesize that new therapeutic breakthroughs will be realized by more precise and reliable control of B cell activity in patients. As such, our efforts will be focused on identifying the fundamental cellular and molecular mechanisms which govern B cell driven anti-tumor immunity.
